First Datacorp Joins 3rd Microsoft Public Sector CIO Summit
The 3rd Microsoft Public Sector CIO Summit was held from June 6 to 8, 2018 at Astoria Palawan, Puerto Princesa City, where First Datacorp was one of the participating partners of this three-day affair.
This year’s theme was “Time for TransformaCIOn: Dream It, Design It, Do It.” Packed with keynote speeches, discussions, testimonials, and breakout sessions, the summit focused on building a vision which will enable the different sectors of the government to achieve digital transformation through a comprehensive design thinking workshop dedicated to helping leaders identify real problems and challenges, and enabling them to create their own roadmap for their organization’s transformation journey.
To deepen the participants’ knowledge on design thinking, a comprehensive session was dedicated to helping leaders identify real problems and challenges, and then ideate solutions which fit into a strategic work plan. Key government priorities aligned with the shift to a highly-digitally enabled landscape were also discussed. In addition, breakout sessions focused on the financial sector, citizen services & policy, education, and public safety & national security for deep-diving on specific digital and tech updates on the industry were also held.
Like the first two runs of this annual event, the Public Sector CIO Summit also served as a venue for the government CIOs to connect with their information and communication technology partners.
